Who we are
Dr. Jaemi Suh, LAc, DACM, PhD
Dr. Suh earned her Ph.D. in biomedicine in South Korea and later moved to Houston, where she completed postdoctoral work at Baylor College of Medicine. She joined the University of Houston as a research assistant professor and subsequently worked at the University of Texas Medical School as a part-time research associate while practicing acupuncture and Oriental medicine part-time. She graduated from the American College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine with a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (DACM) degree. Transitioning into acupuncture and Oriental medicine, she has bridged traditional practices with modern science, underpinned by her research in endocrinology, including Autoimmune/Thyroid disease, Kidney development, and Retina neurotransmitters.
Dr. Jung H. Song, LAc, DACM, PhD
Dr. Song earned his Ph.D. in medical science in South Korea, specializing in nephrology and endocrinology within internal medicine. As a postdoctoral researcher, he advanced his studies at Baylor College of Medicine and the University of Texas Health Science Center, focusing on the neuroscientific aspects of metabolic diseases, including diabetes and obesity. Dr. Song graduated from the American College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine with a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (DACM) degree and now practices in The Woodlands.
